we’ve been wanting to try for our third and last babe recently. I’m still nursing my 16 month old full time, but I thought I had a period on two separate occasions. Problem is they haven’t been consistent and according to tests I am not ovulating. About three months ago, I bled for a week and had all period symptoms. Didn’t ovulate after. Then no period for two months. Then last month, bleeding reappeared for a couple of days, again took ovulation tests two weeks later and nothing showed the whole week. I’m supposed to start my period tomorrow based on my last one but no sign of that coming either so maybe another false hope.

I have to wonder why I’m randomly bleeding and then nothing. I went to the ob already and she said everything looked normal so I don’t know what’s going on. Has anyone else had this happen? Can my periods be irregular because I’m still breastfeeding? I see all the time women say they get their periods back while full time breastfeeding so I don’t know why I can’t get mine back 😭
