Help..painful sex

Okay so I need to know if this is normal..my husband is really blessed and one time we had sex for so long and I stopped cause it was starting to hurt really bad and I cried..after that, Everytime we had sex it would be sharp pain just as he's first putting it in but it ends up going away after a couple thrusts...I don't know why that is. I'm lubricated enough..I'm already dripping wet every time before he even takes my pants off..I was reading that it might be due to emotional trauma my muscles might tighten up from maybe that time when we had sex so long it hurt and I cried ? He was just going really rough and he in no way "raped" me as soon as I told him it hurt he stopped and cuddled me..I dunno.. What do you guys think? I've thought maybe it was friction/rug burn type injuries on my walls so I refrained from sex for a couple weeks but even after that it was the same and it's always just as he's putting it in
