Soooo I used to not have enough milk for my baby when he was a newborn so I had to supplement him with formula. At about 2 months I was able to exclusively breastfeed him. He eats about 6 times a day, sometimes 7 nowadays and I have no idea how much he eats each time. I used to feed him 24/7 so this doesn’t feel like im feeding him enough lol!

I tried pumping to see how much milk i could get When my breasts were super hard in the middle of the night but I couldnt seem to get all the milk out using the pump (my breasts didn’t get soft all the way) and I only got like 4-5 oz.

But he sleeps about 9-10 hours for his first stretch (that’s considered sleeping through the night, right?) and another 2 hours or so after I feed him. If he wasn’t getting enough milk, he wouldn’t be sleeping long hours like that, right?

His weight gain was normal at 4 months appointment. (Was 16lb 3oz)
