Every night before bed I boil a pot of water and the leave it on the stove to cool, and then in the morning I pour the cooled water into a pitcher, and that’s what I use to make the baby’s bottles. Well last night I got up to make a bottle at 3am and I heard a soft noise. I looked over to the stove and could see the water moving around in the pot. In my sleepless haze I panicked thinking I had left the pot boiling on the stove and went to bed. I got closer to the stove and there was a BAT treading water in the pot!!! I ran upstairs and woke up my husband, who went outside in his boxers and dumped the pot out in the yard. I then sanitized the entire kitchen and threw the pot right in the garbage. I’m so traumatized today!!
