Hey ladies!

I know it is pretty early to be thinking about contraception after this pregnancy. But I decided I would like to get another IUD after baby is born in June! I’ve been reading you can get them inserted right after birth and delivery of the placenta. Or you can wait til your 6 week postpartum visit to your doctor. I was just wondering if anyone had talked to their doctor/ or experienced this for themselves? I plan to speak with my doctor at the end of the month about it but just wanted to know your thoughts?
