Lamictal, it’s a mood stabilizer. Did it work for you?

I take it, but for seizures. I work in healthcare though and have seen lamictal work well for many people.

Yes I yook it, no it didn’t work for me. I was on it per request for 1.5 years. I was admitted into psych Bc i was talking about killing myself and others....before I wasn’t like that. 
Then I couldnt sleep 
Or eat 
I got asked by a teacher at school if I was taking hard drugs and got tested by officer at school just to prove I wasn’t taking any drugs.

I'm bipolar and I took it for a long time. It was very helpful. Then I developed the Stevens-Johnsons Syndrome from it and can't take it anymore. But be very careful about taking them at the right time because they will make you feel messed up (almost drunk) if you take them too close together.

Oh that's strange I didn't realise it was a mood stabilizer, I've only ever known it as a medication for epilepsy.
