What do you think of the name Abigail?

My husband is really pushing for us to name our baby girl Abigail (Abby). I like where the name derives from and the meaning but the name itself feels too old fashion to me and I just really don't like it lol.

Don't agree to a name you don't like! Find as many as you can and see which ones he likes and go from there.

My twin sister is just abby not Abigail as my mom loved Abby but hated Abigail (dad wanted Abigail.) so they compromised since she’d be called abby her whole life anyway haha ! I like it but I mean it’s my sisters name haha

I love Abby! Abigail is the long form, but nobody seems to use it, so I would probably just name her Abby instead.
