I work 5.75 hours a day, M-F. I get paid $13.64 an hour. My job is a love/hate situation. Anyways, there was a job opening elsewhere. 8 hours starting between $21-$25 an hour. I applied and was told to take a test online. I didn't do it. Another job opened up. 8 hours at $16.08 an hour. I didn't apply. I am comfortable where I am. But there is no room to grow. I have been told full time positions are in the works but if there are two of us in this position, I doubt they'd make 2 full time positions. I just feel like if I leave the position will become full time with better pay. But I would also like to buy a house within two years but cannot do that and my salary. I need advice. Should I take the plunge next time I see a good opportunity?
