Anyone else let their baby sleep with a lovey/stuffed animal/blankie?

Anonymous because I don't need the mom hate. Just curious where everyone is at with this and our 9/10 month babies.

Since 7 months he has had a blanket. He’s really strong and has the instinct to take it off if he can’t breath. He mostly falls asleep face down in it or puts it on his face 🙄 of course he moves around a lot and doesn’t get wrapped up in it. Just depends on the baby.

We do for monitored naps. We don’t if we aren’t awake and in the same room with him. However the other night he was rustling around so I gave him his blanket quick because it calms him. It was no where near his face, just the corner of it him his hand. I ran downstairs quick to get water and ran back up to check on him and he was completely wrapped the blanket all around his head! I ripped it off so fast he rolled across the crib! Safe to say he is definitely not ready for that yet. So terrifying and I feel so stupid for even doing it.

My daughter has slept with a loose blanket over her since she was born and we stopped swaddles when she was 3 months (in bassinet in our room until 7-8 months) and has 2 small stuffed animals in the crib with her now.

Yes from the start and I sleep with her and I have video monitors if I’m not in bed with her x

Oooh I put no but I do for naps so yes for naps, he sleeps in bed with us though so has me to snuggle at night haha! Xx

My son has been sleeping with his blanket in his crib since about 6 months. I just lay it out flat and he sleeps on top of it

Yes, I still get anxiety but my baby sleep facedown, but I've thrown blankets over her during play time and held her nose to see if she reacts and escapes and she does instantly. 
I'm very comfident that if something was to stop her from breathing or if she was to get a bit tangled up in her blanket, she'll sort it out herself (if for some reason I don't hear her struggle).
But she wakes up and plays with her teddy which gives a 10-15 minuet lay in 😂🐻

Mine hasn’t shown any interest in lovies, stuffies or blankets at bed time. In the car she gets them out of her way before she passes out. She means business when it’s bed time and is out fast.

My daughter sleeps with two of them in her crib. She’s strong, has great head control, and they are small.

My LO sleeps with his bunny since when he was about 7 months. I wasn’t comfortable at the begging than I’ve relaxed. It really helps him to fall asleep. He strokes the hunny’s ears and goes to sleep. 🥰
