How are you breastfeeding your baby? We mostly do side-lying occasionally cross cradle

As our babies get bigger and heavier I was just curious how everyone else is breastfeeding. My wrists have been absolutely killing me, so the less strain I put on them the better.

My wrists hurt too! Lol I’ll look down and see my veins popping out. My little guy is so big and long I don’t know what I’m gonna do in a few months

Cradle.  Ive tried different positions,  but cradle is the only one my LO actually likes and will nurse from lol

We’ve been doing side laying down for about a week because for some reason it’s the only way I can get her to stay on for more than five minutes. No idea why it’s suddenly changed. We used to just do cradle

I’m struggling now she’s getting bigger, my daughters in a harness for her hips so I need to keep her legs froggy and flat out to the sides best we can.
We go for cradle best we can but holding her “tummy to mummy” is impossible now because she’s just getting too big and I can’t position her leg, so she lays at an angle but has to turn her head 😕 she’s used to it now but it bugs me to feed her in that position because i know they shouldn’t have to turn their heads to feed. Side lay gives us the same issue, can’t face her “tummy to mummy”.
So if anyone has any suggestions, I’m all ears 🙂 (or eyes, as it’s on my phone hah) x

Plain cradle - not cross cradle

I get her latched in cross cradle but then lean back so it's a laid back position - highly recommend laid back positioning - baby does all the work

Cradle, laid back and football. Now that she is so squirmy she latches better and is less fussy if I support her head and then hold my boob in place. My wrists hurt. I have fast let down so she usually gets sprayed in the face.
