What to expect at first prenatal appointment?

I have my first prenatal appointment on Thursday when I will be 6weeks6days. What should I expect? Will they do an ultrasound? (I am really hoping they do) If they do an ultrasound would it be vaginal or abdominal? What else do they do at this appointment?

Probably a blood draw, and basic nutrition talks. They probably wouldn’t see the heartbeat until later, but might try to see the sac.

a ton of medical & family history questions, they’ll give you a lot of info about nutrition and stuff like that, urine sample and blood draw. i was 9 weeks and didn’t have an ultrasound.

It will be a lot of questions about medical history.  They will weigh and measure. If they do an ultrasound it will be transvaginal this early.
