So I’m just home for a few weeks I live in a different state 7 hours away and haven’t been to my home town in 2.5 years.

But when I got back a lot of crap started happening with my family and I decided to confide in this guy that I was friends with through college as we’ve got closer this past year.

He took me out for dinner, wanted to pick me up and drive me wherever I needed because I wanted to be out of the house and away from everyone.

So two weeks pass and he’s texted me everyday, asks me to come to his house to stay (he still lives at home because he just moved back from Canada after 3 years) so when I get there his mom comes out to greet me and his whole family is in his house his mom, sister, two brothers and his brother in law. They all know my name say that it’s lovely to meet me and we have great conversations. He then asks me if I want to go out ( he doesn’t drink, never did) so we go out he buys me my first drink and we just have a good night, I felt our body language made us look like a couple. So we leave the bar and we’re walking back to his car and he opens the car door for me 😭. We get to his house and we’re both lying in the guest bedroom and we’re talking about past relationships, traveling and then he gets up and leaves and goes to his room.

The next morning he comes into me asks me what would I like to do for the day and then plans it for me, makes me coffee and takes me for dinner. We’re driving back to his house to get my car and I’m eating a lollipop and I don’t like mine so he takes mine and gives me his.

When we got back to his house I had to rush off then because I was late for an appointment and when I get out of it he has txt me 3 times to make sure I got home ok, I replied and then he called me to see how I was, told me he felt like Steve (a clingy ex boyfriend) for txting me so much and I laughed and said not at all. When I got home I actually kind of missed him. Now we’re planning to spend valentines weekend together, my head is a mess, am I reading way too much into this gestures, does he like me? Like has he never made a move because I always have a few drinks in me and he doesn’t want to seem like a creep.

So much more things he says but I’ve already written a book here 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️ I’m an idiot and I don’t know how to approach this situation.... what do I do? And I’m going back so I’m not staying around here
