So my neighbours have 4 little kids ages are 8, 6, 4, 2. And the dad is abusive to them, he really hits them hard and throws stuff and swears at them calling them every name in the book. And I have wanted to report it for so long and finally did anonymously. And the child safety person has been out twice and hasn’t spoken to the kids at all. He has spoken to both parents and I seen him leave just now and honestly looks like he became buddies with the the father. It looks like nothing is going to come out of it.

Question is shouldn’t he be speaking to at least the oldest one asking her if he ever hurts her or anything? I have a photo of her with a massive bruise from her dad hitting her. I’m very close to these children and spend almost every day with them and my heart is breaking for them. I’m terrified the dad will find out it was me who reported and so I’m really scared to try and report again for fear he will suspect me of reporting
