Would you ?

This is how labor was for me. I started having contractions around 6pm and kept going alll night. They weren’t consistent AT ALL but they were sooo uncomfortable. My doctor refused to believe I was in labor since it was my first baby and I was 40+4 and I was at 2cm for like 3 weeks. I took myself to the hospital and I was 4cm dilated. Had my baby that afternoon. Trust your body not everyone has the classic labor symptoms with contractions 3-5 mins apart lasting 1 min. I’d call your doc or go in at least to be checked.

Call your provider and see what they think. Contractions shouldn't be a stabbing, sharp pain. If that is the case, baby may be sitting on a nerve or facing the wrong direction, etc.

You can always call and ask if you should come in.
