Hemorrhoids?..

How long does it take them to go away? I’ve had swollen external hemorrhoids for weeks and nothing is making them go down or away at all.

Depends on how aggressively you treat them. I had a thrombosed hemmhoroid a few months ago and over three weeks of treatment it went away. Years ago I had a bad one and it went away with aggressive treatment. Basically if you want it gone you have to spend a ridiculous amount of time every day treating them. And useing a variety of products.

Usually once you get them, you’re more prone to getting them again & more frequently. Especially during pregnancy & even more so if you’re experiencing constipation. I’ve had them horribly this entire pregnancy, thanks to horrible constipation & more frequently the last month since baby has dropped & I have more pressure downstairs. 
I’ve found preparation H wipes help (the on the go ones with lidocaine) & add the same brand cream in the morning, at night before bed & after going to the bathroom. If they’re too bad/larger, it may take days for them to get better/lower in size. 
My doc advised me to bring this with me when we check in to the hospital as labor & delivery will likely worsen them if I have them currently. 😐😒

Time! But ever since I got hemorrhoids they go down but always come back. It’s a lifelong thing basically 😑
I use the creams but the thing that helps most is sitting in the bathtub with Epsom salts
