Does anyone know anything about child support
I am ridiculously pissed off this morning, maybe it’s the pregnancy hormones or I’m just tired of everyone walking right over me.
My daughter is 5. I left her dad three years ago and child for child support shortly after. I gave him multiple opportunities to just give me money monthly. I only asked for $100 a MONTH and I would not file but he wouldn’t even do that. So THREE years later they FINALLY set an amount. $400 a month. The thing is he has quit several jobs in the time and gone jobless thinking that will get him out of paying.
Anyways the order said the $400 was to start being paid on January 1st, 2020.
It is now February 4th and nothing has been paid.
When I check the app it says it’s in the process of “enforcement - methods of enforcing child support that is not being paid”
I’m so pissed this morning because I haven’t been able to work as I’m sick AF from being pregnant but I had my last $20 the other day and he called saying he was on the side of the road and if I could send him gas $ he would send it back the next day - he never did. Then I’ve been begging him for WEEKS to go get our daughters hair cut because it is started getting raggedy looking. Well he called her yesterday and said he would get her from school today and take her for ice cream and the park - guess who called me at 10 am and said he made himself a hair appointment for right when she gets released from school so I need to go get her (keep in mind he hasn’t gotten her in months) and not to mention he’s getting HIS haircut ?
So I told him not to worry about it and I’ll drive her ass to the park on E and borrow $ from her aunt for ice cream and to have her hair cut and then he starts blowing my phone up calling me miserable and how I’m such a sorry person for having to rub my bad attitude on everyone.
Just over it. How do I get this money from him? What does enforcement mean? How will they get it if he’s done changed jobs 809 times
