How often do you give your dog a bath?

My dog has only ever had a few baths in her life because we only have a bath tub upstairs and she doesn’t like to go up there. 😬 I just booked her an appointment at Petsmart for a bath

Vet tech here. Dogs are not suppose to have baths that often. Maybe every 2-3months. Doing it too often will dry out the skin. They need their natural body oils to protect the skin from the outside elements. 
Dog groomers do it every 6-8wks. 
Absolutely NOT every week or every 2wks.

Every few months. It's actually important to not wash them to often because of the oils in their skin and it's dry their skin out

My pit bull gets one every 3-4 months probably, granted in the summer she’s constantly playing in her little kiddie pool so I don’t worry about it then. My Maltese gets one probably every 4-6 weeks. He goes to the groomer every 2 months and then if he gets dirty(he’s all white, so it’s super obvious) before his next appointment I’ll give him a bath(thats what makes it more on the 4 week time span).

Every week or 2 at home. We take her to the groomer every couple of months. We have a german shepherd who is extremely fluffy and she loves the groomers and baths.
