When you get your “ovulation dip” on your BBT chart, that means...

Like i know the day of your temp dip is “ovulation day” but when exactly does ovulation occur in relation to when you actually take the temperature?

I usually get the dip on the first day of a positive opk and the actual ovulation is supposed to happen about 24 hours after the first positive opk. At least that's what I'm reading everywhere. So if that's true that would mean the day after you get the dip your temperature should spike back up and you should ovulate. Or you could even ovulate the night of the positive opk.

Means you are going to ovulate. After O day then you should get 3 temps that are higher than the previous 6 to confirm ovulation.
Here’s mine for example:

Now I should be expecting, more like hoping, for my temps to rise higher than the previous temps for the next few days 👌🏻 I used to think the dip meant you ovulated, but it’s just a rise in estrogen levels and it’s the next day you ovulate.

For instance I usually tend to get my positive opk in the evening and then by the next morning I have a temperature rise that is meant to show that I ovulated.
