My boyfriend is black, and I just yesterday told him that my dad didn’t want us together because of him being black (I am white). My boyfriend handled it GREAT, but now he keeps making racist comments about black people and saying things like “black people are loud” when it was loud In the cafeteria at school and I responded with “people are just loud” and he said “black people” and insisted that it was black people. It’s making me uncomfortable and I feel like maybe he actually does care about what my dad said more than he’s letting on...?
