How long did you wait to try for another baby?

Hi ladies! Just wondering how long you waited to have a baby after a c section? We have two beautiful babies! I had a c section with both of them. They are 2 years and 1 day apart. I want my kids close. So is it safe to start trying now? lol

I had my first 10 months ago and I am currently 5 months pregnant. I get a lot of pain across my csection scar and sometimes struggle to walk due to the pain I’m also classed as high risk due to it being under 18 months since my last section, which requires so many appointments . I think if you want to start trying speak to your doctor and get their opinion as everyone heals from their sections differently. Good luck

My doc told me to wait 6 months. Got pregnant 7 months postpartum. I’ve got an almost 11 month old and I’m 4 months pregnant

We started trying when my daughter was 10 months. I got pregnant when she was 15 months. Everything's going fine so far. No complications or issues. I do have to have another c-section, but it's unrelated to when I got pregnant. I would have needed another one regardless.
