Blood test results?!?

Question

So I got a few positive home tests, so I went in today for a blood test. My nurse called and told me it was positive but my levels were low, that I needed to come back in a couple days to retest and make sure they have doubled... should I be worried?! Has anyone else experienced this? This is my first pregnancy, and we’ve been trying for a while so I’m still in shock and feel like I can’t celebrate yet!

At 4 weeks my levels were 35 then 2 days later they went to 101. I was nervous too but everyone I talked to said their first levels weren’t super high but doubled or more and everything was fine. I found it helpful to keep taking tests to make sure the line gets darker. I had a miscarriage back in November and I am currently 5 weeks pregnant with our rainbow baby. Good luck and relax! 🙂

Don’t stress yourself out! Doctors nowadays love to stress us out! I know your doctor is right in telling you the right thing but try not to worry!

I had the same thing happen in my first pregnancy. They did a vag ultrasound & couldn’t see anything (I was barley 5 weeks) she told me to come back in a few days to retest. & well my baby is 6yo now lol. It’s just bc you’re early. Nothing to worry abt.
