Should I go the er or not ?

This morning my blood pressure was 139/100 85 I checked it about 10pm it was 139/98 98 should I go to the er plus my feet are really swollen and I don’t go to the dr till Monday .

From what I've been told after being diagnosed w gestational hypertension. Go to the hospital when its 160/110 or higher. I was 157/99 the other night and swollen but really theres nothing they can do except give you peace of mind if you do want to go in. If you're uncomfortable or unsure never be afraid to go in and be seen.

Call and ask. They may want you to come in. I have pre-eclampsia and was told the same as another girl on your comments already. 160/110 is critical and you HAVE to seek medical attention. 140/90 is level 2 hypertension and is usually the second sign to pre-eclampsia next to protein in your urine. Try to reduce your salt intake and relax, keep your feet elevated and sleep slightly propped up to prevent any issues of blood flow. If you get any sign of head ache, pain in your rib area or just below on your right side or vision changes you need to go to ER asap.

I had preeclampsia/HELLP that came out of nowhere with our first- this time around the doctor told me to notify them if my BP went above 140/90. I would say with the swelling and your pressure staying high it wouldnt be a bad idea to head to the ER.

I was always told above 150/100 to call. Go ahead and call. They may have you go in and check for preeclampsia signs.
