“Fully Potty Trained” for 3-VPK?
I just signed my daughter up for a 3 year old vpk. School wouldn’t start until August so I have 6 months, but I was checking out what “fully potty trained” meant on their camp website and they said that the child would need to go themselves, wipe and pull up their pants. My daughter will be 3 years old and 2 months when she starts. She’s daytime potty trained, but I wipe her because she does not wipe well. I also don’t know that she could go without me accompanying her unless the potty was at her level (I haven’t seen the restrooms at school so maybe they are smaller?) Anyway, I also read that the child would also need to change their clothes themselves if they have an accident. My daughter is just now learning to put underwear on by herself. I know I have 6 months to work on this, but are these typical rules for “school” or a daycare for 3 year olds?
