Is it safe?

Ok. I don't know if I'm posting this in the right group but....
I'm 6w4d and I have a silly question.... is it safe to have my roots colored? Mama got alot of grey's that she'd like to cover lol but I keep seeing conflicting articles.
Just wondering if anyone knows or has colored their hair during pregnancy or this early in their pregnancy?

My sister in law kept dying her hair , and she’s a cosmetologist. I think you have to wait until your second trimester , but definitely call your doctor about it!

Nobody knows for sure as there is little research on this. The chemicals are certainly dangerous but the amount is very low. It is therefore considered to be probably safe but it’s usually advised that you don’t get colour put on the scalp so you might want to pick a colour that’s close to your natural one so you have a bit of root gap. It should be done in a very well ventilated room if you go ahead :) x
