3 weeks pp and things may be getting worse 😞

So I’m calling my midwife when they open, but I wanted to see if anyone else experienced this. I’m 3 weeks pp and at my 2 week check up my midwife told me all the places she stitched were healed well, she couldn’t see any open wounds and I may feel some discomfort soon as the knots to the stitches work their way out (the rest of the stitch is supposedly dissolved).

Well the last few day when I go to the bathroom I’ve noticed that my vaginal bleeding has stopped but I’m bleeding from my perineum. I thought she said it looked closed up but it must not be. And it only happens occasionally. Like if I don’t have to use the bathroom for a while (especially when I get up to use the bathroom in the morning) it’ll be bleeding, but if I’ve only gone a couple hours or less it’s normally not.

Anyone else have a similar experience? What did your dr/midwife say or do about it?

Just wondering what to possibly expect when I call.
