Hi! I’m nineteen, I passed my driving test on the 27th, and on the 1st of feb my parents were off to Australia for a month. My dad, a driving instructor assumed he’d be able to insure his car as soon as I passed, but after passing he realised that was not the case, so in the week leading to them leaving for Aus, he searched endlessly for an affordable, car insurance/ policy. Literally just before they left on the Friday, we found an amazing deal for a bran new fiat 500 that could be delivered to me. He paid the deposit for my immediately. Now a week on the car will be delivered in a week or too. My boyfriend, has reacted negatively to this and has been calling my parents selfish, I have a very close relationship with my parents and have been extra emotional now they have gone away and told them what he had been saying, I was just wondering am I in the wrong for defending them? He bullied me all of the time before j took my test (I have been in a really bad car accident and had literally crippling anxiety) and when I take it and pass first time I feel like he’s attacking me. I’m wondering am I wrong? Because he’s making me feel like I am.
