This might sound a silly thing to be happy about but it’s the first time I’ve put my little girl in tights since she was born.

She has Hip Dysplasia and started her Pavlik Harness at 6 weeks, unfortunately it hasn’t progressed so we’re out of the harness for now as it’s not helping and will be reassessing the situation as she grows - next steps will be cast then onto surgery if that doesn’t work so I’m terrified about what’s to come and the challenges that will throw at us but currently taking a little guilty pleasure in having unrestricted cuddles, regular baths and admiring how long my little lady actually is. She’s suddenly gained inches in length 🙈

I’m so nervous about the road ahead but for now I’m trying very hard to just enjoy the present whilst she’s so little and not stress about what hasn’t happened yet. To quote my lovely grandpa’s favourite quote (RIP) “what will be, will be” 😌

6w appt into the harness and 16w appt today when it came off. Little chunk 🙈
