Parorama Testing. Have you done it ?

Ashley

Panorama is a noninvasive prenatal screening test (NIPT) that reveals your baby’s risk for genetic disorders as early as nine weeks. Panorama analyzes baby's (placental) DNA through a simple blood draw from the mother’s arm.

I was wondering if any other mom has done this? I got approved for a low payment no more then $150 to possibly nothing! because without it it’s like a $400 test. It’s not a necessity but I would love to know. They test for so many genetic disorders and babies gender. The baby is not touched in any way shape or form. They just take blood from my arm. I was just curious if any other moms have done it and if so what was you experience?

*update*

Thank you ladies for all your feedback. I’m not high risk and my dr didn’t request that I have it done. I like to know anything and everything I can for peace of mind and as long as baby is safe and obviously this is. I also don’t have any insurance because we are trying to find a insurance that’s affordable because my husbands work does offer it but for a soon to be family of four it’s about $2000 a month and that just absolutely outrageous. Paying cash is actually the cheapest way to go right now. The company netera that actually gets all of your results offers a financial aid where I may not even have to pay anything for the test and worse case scenario we pay about $145 . So I have a Mobil phlebotomists that’s coming to my house to draw my blood (free of charge) and I have a lot my dr gave me and will send it out .
