Ovulation pain but negative OPk

I’m definitely having what I believe are ovulation cramps, but I took an OPK and it was negative. Anyone had this happen before? It’s early, but I really feel like I’m ovulating a few days before my app predicts I will this month! Today is CD 11, and I’m supposed to ovulate on CD14
