Spotting?

Question

Anyone have any spotting going on in the 2nd trimester? 16+5  and had a smaller than pea size spot of blood today. I called my dr and the had me go to labor and delivery. Baby boys heartrate was strong at 168, they also did blood work to check antibodies of the previous rogam shot I had and see if I need another one. Still feel a little nervous. Has anyone else had this?

I have a friable cervix and have bleeding almost everyday. Not sure if it’s what you’re dealing with, but i would bring it up to your doctor! It definitely gave me a little piece of mind.

Yes! I’m 19 weeks tmrw. But last week before I turned 18 weeks I had spotting and actually passed a small blood clot. Called my doctor and she said I could go to L & D or come in next day as it was the end of the day. Did an ultrasound and pelvic examine. Baby girl was fine. But come to find out I have a small piece of my placenta covering my cervix (Partial Placenta Previa). My Dr said if baby kicks/bumps it, I sneeze/cough to hard it could cause spotting. She said that as the uterus grows it usually corrects itself pulling away from the cervix. I also have Cervical ectropion which causes a sensitive cervix so that can cause spotting too. She said pink spotting is fine. But if I bleed bright red that’s bigger than a quarter to get checked out. I’ve had a couple incidents of spotting. Freaks me out as it’s not something you want to see during pregnancy. Wishing you all the best with your pregnancy Momma!
