Are you the type to leave a bad review on someone’s google/yelp page if you had a poor experience at that place of business?

Honestly, it depends. For example, this morning I wanted IHOP and the waitress brought the drinks over and the cup was FILTHY, food all over it. We asked for another cup/drink and she didn’t bring another until the food came out. Then, when we unwrapped the silverware for our two year old the fork was dirty, food and what appeared to be paper on it.. normally I’d chalk it up to oversight but this is the second time we’ve been to this location and had dirty items. Yes, I’d leave a review because it seems consistent along with pictures. 
If it were a one time thing, never happening again, I wouldn’t leave a negative review.
I always leave positive reviews for businesses that are small/not franchised though.

Not unless it was repeatedly bad. I usually just leave positive reviews. It has to be a really, REALLY bad experience for me to leave a negative one

I go out of my way to give good reviews, I worked in the service industry for a long time so I get people have bad days and front end staff to their best to do their jobs. So leaving bad reviews doesn’t really help. I’ve only left one and it was because the doctors office I went to kept calling me in to go for prenatal checks after I told them I had a miscarriage, I asked them to quit calling and to put the information on file. They continued to call for checkups after I spoke to the office manager. They also mixed up mine and another woman’s pregnancy tests. 
They got a bad anger filled review.

Depends on the experience and if it’s even something worth leaving a review over. I also make sure to leave good ones tho too and have left more good reviews than bad.

The only time I have done this is for shady/poor service in a trade like carpentry, auto, etc. The only time I left a bad review for a restaurant was when the manager was an absolute psychopath because I wanted to order a beer while my underage brother was at the table. He could have just said he didn't feel comfortable with it or whatever. Instead, he asked me if he was my child. We're 9 years apart in age and I look like a fucking child half the time. Then he grilled me asking if I would give my brother beer. He was so loud and I was so embarrassed. He came back to my table multiple times to talk to me. He was some gigantic 400lb man standing over me accosting me. Never ate there again.
