I had a very graphic and very real-like dream of having sex with one of the maintenance men who work at my complex. I could've sworn I said his name out loud which is what woke me from my dream.

Some backstory I'm an artist and I'm introverted, I'm not a shy person, but I will find myself not really being really chatty with some people and it can go on for years. But this year I'm changing that, I'm making an effort to engage with more people.

So there's like 5 maintenance men who work in my complex and I'm pretty friendly with them, but I never talk to them. Even when they're fixing something at my place it's pretty much, point out the problem, give them space, and thank them.

This time I decide to spark a conversation when one of the guys came in for an apartment check. We talked about him seeing me walk regularly and why I stopped, to DIYing furniture, to art. I didn't do the smartest thing of letting him into my room to see my current piece, it's a big piece that's pinned to the wall while I worked on it and my other pieces. I get really hyped about my art and I'm always looking for collectors but that was so stupid.

We continued to talk about art while he showed me some stuff he made. At this point, I was feeling some tension. Then he mentioned his wife having cancer and reality hit and I went to oh you are cute and like art to get to married ass out my room, I really wanted to know how his wife was doing after chemo but I didn't get to ask.

Then I get a phone call from my mom who could hear him as he was on his way out mention taking down his number for the power tools you made need for your furniture project and just as I was going to say it's fine, I don't need it, because now it's weird for me. My mom's all on the phone like YASSSSSS we need help with this project. So I have this man number with no intention of ever using it.

But last night that sex dream about him was crazy. I felt so bad 😭. I need to break this two-year dry spell. I can't be having dreams about getting my back blown out with every new man I talk to. 🤣🤣🤣
