me and my boyfriend were having a deep talk as we havent been getting along so well recently (petty arguments because hes not getting his own way mostly) to try to just sort things out and see where things are going wrong. then he randomly says, in the middle of me telling him how i feel, ‘help me’ so i asked with what and he said ‘help me get off’.

he has done this in heated arguments before and he knows how upset and angry it makes me as to me it is so disrespectful and dismissive of me and my feelings.

i told him to just go away and told him it was disrespectful. he said it was a joke and i was taking it too far, but i dont think i am.

would you be mad if your boyfriend asks you to help him get off (even if it was as a joke) in the middle of an emotional and deep conversation? especially when he had done it before and you made it clear that it hurt you?
