So I'm 32 weeks pregnant and my female dog has been acting strange today. She's usually a happy, begging for food type of dog but today she's been very alert, jumps and nips on anybody who gets close to my husband, our little one and I's space. We are very surprises she's doing this because she's not like that at all, if anything she runs away from things and let my male dog go and see what it is. Anybody went through this or seen it?

Since she can smell it she might also smell a difference in your hormone level getting closer to time to deliver...

Yes, normal but keep it in check, retrain her if necessary. Females mostly are the protectors and will fight to the death for their pack. She knows you're pregnant, she can smell it. Before it was you and the guy, easy to handle, but now with the baby *whew* she is on high alert to protect.
