Benadryl and ttc!?

Is it safe to take Benadryl to try to sleep when ttc?  I usally take melatonin but i heard its not good

When TTC I would think it is fine. Might have to reassess after a positive pregnancy test, tho!!

Benadryl is no good either, it’s very drying. I switched from Benadryl to melatonin because Benadryl is worse and shown to cause dementia and early Alzheimer’s. I take melatonin because I can’t not sleep, I truly won’t sleep without something and I am not taking ambien or prescription level shit the side effects are insane.
