Surge on day 7-8 possible???

Question

I just started TTC I also just got my birth control out a couple weeks ago. My boyfriend got home on January 31st. I had nexplanon if that makes a difference but according to the strips I had higher LH on day 8 and it went down after that? Should I keep testing Lh or did I miss it? Started my period / day 1 on Jan 25th - Jan 29. 
This is all so new to me I’m just trying to get informed since most surges haven’t happened yet..

Doesnt look like you missed it, so keep testing, and maybe twice a day. But it is possible to get a surge early, I get around CD7, but my cycle is short. If you have a normal or long cycle, chances are you ovulate later on. So keep testing 😊
If you dont get anything this cycle,start testing earlier next cycle just to be sure.Good luck!

Keep testing, mine are all over the place depending on the time of day and how much I drank. I would feel the same if they looked gradually lighter, but I would guess they are going to go up.

Those tests are all negative no matter how light or dark they are. Your LH fluctuates throughout your cycle but hits a surge, typically, 12-36 hours before ovulation which will give you a positive test. Positive tests are if the test line is as dark or darker than the control line. So of you think of it as positive or negative instead of the shade of it, that helps.

You’re reading them wrong, the first line should be as dark or darker that the 2nd line keep testing and gl
