I have a question regarding couples therapy and how the payment process works. My fiance and I aren't married and have different insurances. I already see a counselor for individual therapy but recently my fiance and I have discussed going to couples counseling to improve our communication and deal with some issues within our relationship. My therapist has offered to have him come in a few times with me but I feel like that wouldn't be fair as she may already have a bias after working with me for an extended amount of time.

Anyways, the office I go to (which has multiple therapists) doesnt accept his insurance. If/when we go for couples counseling would they bill both of us are just one of us?
