If I took a test would I get an accurate result?

I had a condom break during my ovulation window.
I didn't think much of it but am now starting to feel kind if icky... 
I know I'm probably just tricking myself but I'm 9dpo and wondering if I took a test would I get an accurate result?

How long ago did the condom break? I would wait until 2 weeks after that to test regardless of DPO unless your period is late.

I tested at 10 dpo and got a faint positive, retested a few days later and my line was dark positive. I am now being induced on Friday to meet our 2nd daughter 😊

If you’re looking for a positive, you can test and retest later, negatives would be very common that early... if you’re hoping for a negative just wait and see if your period is late first because you don’t want to feel relieved and then actually be pregnant after all.
