Does waking a young baby during the day to eat help them sleep more at night?
I’m not sure if this is normal or not but my one month old is EBF and during the day she’ll eat for 10-20 minutes and then fall asleep and sleep for a few hours, but when I feed her at night and try to put her in her crib to sleep she instantly wakes up and wants more food. It makes me wonder if she’s catching up in a way from sleeping so much during the day. Do you think it would help if I made more of an effort to wake her for more frequent feedings during the day or is it a waste of time?
