Does your 3-yr-old still take naps during the day?

How long is the nap? How many hours of sleep do they get at night?

My little naps anywhere from 30 min to 2.5 hours. I kinda let him do his thing in the weekends. At day are during the week I believe it’s about 2 hours.

My son still naps, about 1-2 hours, and still sleeps about 10+hours at night

Mine stopped napping a few months before she turned 3 so now she’s goes to bed at 7pm and sleeps until 7:30am

Yes! She naps 1230-230, my oldest is in second grade...and she sleeps 830-715am.

Naps are hit or miss. If he does nap it’s for 1/1.5 hours. He does always have a “quiet time” in his bed from 1-2 and he can sleep or not. Bedtime is 6:30 with no nap, 7:30 with a nap and he wakes up around 7 am.

Most of the time no, he stopped napping at about 20months. If he naps he doesn’t sleep at night

Our now five year old stopped napping for a while when he was three, but I stubbornly kept nap time, and said “I don’t care what you do in your room, but that is where you will be for nap time whether you take one or not”. So it was “quiet time” for months, but he eventually started taking naps again, and still does! You need the quiet time just as much or more than your child, and I think it’s worth trying to keep that time for yourself by having them have that time in their room alone to play.
