I’ve now been with my husband for eight years and his female friends still don’t include me on invitations to events or parties (through text or otherwise). I get the invitation secondhand through him and just hope that I was actually invited given they didn’t used to include me a lot of the time. He’d out with them to bars every so often, sometimes I was invited to join, other times not. Admittedly I am very thoughtful and polite in this way and wouldn’t dream of excluding a wife or girlfriend of a male friend like this. I’m trying to understand though that not everyone’s the same and some people just don’t think about others feelings like I do. Are some people just not as thoughtful? Or is just plain rude?
