My husband was, he has been much better for a long time now. But it came to the point that nothing was working, even counselling. Eventually, we had to put a parental block on his phone and have it linked to my phone so I knew what he was doing at all times. His addiction went well beyond just porn though. So we kind of needed extreme measures. 
But it worked. Once he was being held accountable he found alternatives to his addiction and we’ve worked through it as a couple. It took a lot of work, and a lot of forgiveness and effort on my part. I had my own counsellor, as I found what he was doing was cheating (he had other issuing online than just porn) that I was having to cope with while supporting him. 
But, it worked and he was able to. If he’s willing to change don’t give up on him.
