My list says sudafed (or a generic) for colds and congestion. Mucinex for chest congestion. Saline spray for stuffy nose. Vicks or robitussin for cough. And tylenol if fever. 🙂

When I went to the pharmacist she said we're only allowed paracetamol (UK)

Call and talk to your doctor above listening to any comments here, they can explain how risky or not certain things are.
I switched doctors/states half way through and I was surprised they had slightly different lists of allowed medicines. It depends on how cautious your doctor is
