Baby #1 vs Baby #2

Officially in the third trimester (27 weeks today) and boy oh boy I mean it when I say birth CANNOT come quick enough!

For anyone who has experienced it,

At 31 weeks with baby #1 I went into pre-term labour and was ‘diagnosed’ (and I used ‘’ because the term is very broad) with an Irritable Uterus.

I basically had mild contractions, regular and timbale every 3-5 mins, all day every day, but they were never hard enough to change my cervix. Only time I ever got a chance to rest was when I laid down to sleep or lay down on our shower floor under the warm water!! The midwife warned me that when I went into labour, it would be hard and fast because my body had spent so much time preparing.... my lordy was she right!!

Well guess what!!

Baby #2 is the exact freaking same!!

EXCEPT THIS STARTED AT 25 WEEKS THIS TIME!!

I’m so freaking exhausted, I can’t even vacuum my my house without setting it off! Then I’ve gotta basically deal with mild contractions for the rest of the day till I can get comfortable enough at night to sleep 😪😅

Not to mention that this baby is measuring and has been measuring 16 FREAKING DAYS AHEAD OF SCHEDULE!! 😩 he’s SUPER active and consistently up under my ribs....

Dead set.... hubby is going to get the snip once this little dude is born!!
