these work very well for both of those things. NEVER use soaps like vagasil, summers eve, etc down there EVER. you only need to clean with warm water and a wash cloth down there, and if you must use soap, use an all natural one that’s not full of chemicals like those types of products. you can google recommendations for that, i personally don’t use any soap, just warm water and a wash cloth EVERYDAY. good luck girly hope this helps❤️
