should i be concerned?

so i’m sitting on my lazy boy in the nursery and my dog got a fast case of the zoomies (where he will just run back and forth and in circles and up and down the stairs) and on his last lap he jumped straight into the baby bump. his front two paws hit my belly at full speed and it hurt so freaking bad. i’ve felt her move since then but lighter than usual.

Only you can know for sure, so trust how you’re feeling. That being said, I was recently (30 weeks along) in a car accident where I was driving, all my air bags deployed and I had bruising almost instantly all across my belly - I spent 24 hours on labor and delivery just for monitoring. Baby was totally fine. Thank God. All this to say, our bodies truly are the perfect vessels, designed specifically to keep these babies safe - from car accidents and from overly excited zoomy pups!

I have a lurcher and she gets very over excited and jumps up onto my bump. I’ve had no problems, I just try to be careful when she gets over excited

I got in an accident yesterday, had to spend hours being monitored (baby is perfectly fine) and then today one of my rescues jumped on me out of excitement and left a scratch (now bruised too) and had an ultrasound at my appointment and everything was okay again so I wouldn't worry too much. It takes a good amount of force to harm anything, but if you start to feel "off" or baby doesn't move like normal definitely go get checked out!!

My cat walks on baby all the time and a few weeks ago she saw something outside and jumped off my belly full force but he’s all good they have a lot more cushioning in there than we realize
