Forgive my ignorance but I’ve never had a baby before. I thought my waters broke the other day but there was a gush of fluid and it definitely didn’t feel like I was urinating. But alas, it was wee 🙄🙈

So when your waters break, does it have a smell? Is it clear or cloudy or have a colour? Is it thin like urine or does it have a little bit of thickness like CM?

I understand that not every mama will experience their water breaking, but with my increased discharge and my sudden lack of bladder control, it would be nice to be able to figure out what’s going on.
