Last night I guess my toenail got caught and was pulled out and it hurts. I’m not running a fever and it’s not in bad pain

Honestly it looks like an ingrown toenail which are the F-ing worst. Make sure you cut/ file your toenails regularly. Also make sure you cut them straight across. A little peroxide and rubbing alcohol should stop any infection coming. If puss starts coming out like more than a little squeezable bit and you’re still in pain see a doctor

It’s red, but is it hot to the touch? I accidentally bumped my finger at work the other day, barely but enough to leave a cut. A few days later, it looked like what could have been infected and a coworker of mine told me to put Neosporin on it. I would clean it with peroxide and do that, put Neosporin on it and wrap it for just in case. Even if it’s not infected, doing that it’s going to hurt anything and will provide that little cushion in case you do end up bumping it on something.
