My boyfriend is taking me and it’ll be both our first ball. He’s army and I’m navy.

I don’t know why but I’m starting to panic lol I got my dress and I’ll be getting my makeup professional done. I’m scared of meeting all of his higher ups! Even though they won’t know I’m military as well, I’m still nervous.

I’m overthinking all of this! Plus I’m super shy when I’m out of my element. If I was in my uniform I would be so confident. I haven’t worn a dress in 5 years since my high school prom!

So if anyone has gone to one, please calm my nerves and tell me how it was and what to expect!
