I don’t regret it at all!!!! 
But if I could have chose if my husband had kids before me I would have preferred he came without kids. 
HOWEVER. He would not be the man he is today without his daughter. I love her like she’s my own and would never wish she wasn’t part of our lives. I look forward to seeing her and hope that she grows up knowing how much I love her and that I’ll always be there for her as a “bonus mom” 
I’m just saying, generally speaking, life would have been easier if he didn’t have kids. It definitely has not been easy with the mother of his child 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ she causes problems frequently and uses the child as a pawn and has struggled to get over that he’s not with her anymore. I feel sorry for her I do, I can’t even imagine how hard it would be to know another woman is going to help raise my child with the father of my baby. But at the same time, I hate seeing her use the child as a pawn and a way to manipulate him. She takes things out on the daughter as a way to hurt him and it’s awful. 
Actually Maybe I just wish he came with the child but not the mother 😂😂 
I’m not sure if that sounds like it makes sense, lol it makes sense in my mind but it’s hard to put into words without it sounding contradictory. Lol

Can’t speak from experience...but if I was single I would not date someone that had kids (unless I had kids).

At first I was ok with it because I wanted kids of my own... it’s been three years... and I love my step kids but if I would’ve known everything that I know now.. I would not have gotten with him because it’s just very different when the kids aren’t yours. I barely have any say but am expected to do everything for them. I try to help raise them but am told that I shouldn’t do that or this and don’t make them clean if they aren’t gona be with us long. Why u making them do chores? I’m like because they need to learn. It’s my house and I have rules here. I told him straight up. If he doesn’t like how I want things in my house than don’t bring them. But he complains that they are messy and don’t clean up like there mom because she’s messy too. So I’m starting to dislike my boyfriend for it.. I don’t think I’m doing anything wrong with having rules and chores.. I am not a slave to those kids. Idc how their mom is but I’m not her and neither am I trying to be.. and the kids have gotten so disrespectful and my boyfriend doesn’t even defend me sometimes..
